In pursuance of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, the environmental protection (Duty of Care) Regulations 1991, and the Controlled Waste Regulations 1991, the following policy shall be adopted by Turquoise Ltd: It shall accept his/her responsibilities in accordance with the Act, the regulations controlling the industry and this Environmental Policy as far as it is reasonably practical. The Aim is to ensure the correct and safe handling of products, materials and services, which might endanger or cause harm to the environment.
Turquoise recognises its responsibilities for the protection of the environment throughout the course of its business activities and seeks to adopt the highest environmental standards. These standards embrace all the products, materials and service the organisation provides, the working conditions of staff and the relationship with the community where the project is located and all the activities carried out by it.
